Hire Terms & Conditions: Omokoroa Football Clubrooms
By hiring the pavilion, the Hirer agrees to abide by the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in the forfeiture of bonds or additional cleaning fees.
1. Cleanliness & Kitchen Use

General Tidiness: The pavilion must be left in a clean and tidy state, suitable for immediate use by the next group.

Dishes & Utensils: All used dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment must be thoroughly cleaned and returned to their original storage spots.

Fridge & Freezer: All food and beverages brought in by the Hirer must be removed at the end of the hire period. Items left behind will be disposed of.

Linen: If club dishcloths or tea towels are used, the Hirer is responsible for laundering them and returning them to the clubrooms within 48 hours.
2. Waste Management

Rubbish Removal: The club operates a “take it with you” policy. All rubbish, recycling, and food waste must be removed from the premises at the end of the hire. No waste is to be left in internal or external club bins.
3. Security & Safety

Securing the Building: It is the Hirer’s absolute responsibility to ensure all windows are closed and all external doors are locked before leaving.

Reporting Damage: Any breakages or damage to the building, equipment, or grounds must be reported to the Club Committee as soon as possible.

Fire Safety: Fire exits must remain clear at all times. The use of naked flames (candles, etc.) is prohibited unless prior written consent is given.
4. Liability & Insurance

Damage Costs: The Hirer is responsible for the full cost of repairing any damage or replacing any property lost or destroyed during the hire period. This includes any costs incurred by the club that are not covered by insurance (e.g., insurance excesses).

Indemnity: The Hirer shall indemnify and keep indemnified the Omokoroa Football Club against all actions, proceedings, claims, costs, and expenses which may be brought against the Club in relation to the Hirer’s use of the premises.

Personal Property: The Club accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal property brought onto the premises by the Hirer or their guests.
5. Conduct & Noise

Noise Levels: Please respect our neighbors. Music and noise must be kept to a reasonable level and must cease by 11:00 PM.

Alcohol: If alcohol is to be sold, the Hirer must obtain the necessary Special License from the local council and provide a copy to the Club prior to the event.
