FRIDAY NIGHT FUTSAL
Term 1 2024 Friday Night Futsal Registrations is running now!.
All games will be refereed by local youth Futsal players and take place between 3:30pm and 7:30pm Friday at the Ōmokoroa No.1 School Dome. Gameweek 1 takes place Friday 20th October.
Squads of 7-9 players recommended (allowing for a few substitutes).
Friday Night Futsal Rules – Quick Rules
Friday Night Futsal is a social league with mixed age participants – please ensure all players take the court with the attitude of care, fun and safe competition.
Each game is 24 minutes long (two 12-minute halves). No timeouts are provided and subs are rolling. Each team is allowed a maximum of five players on the pitch at any time.
Goalkeepers are only allowed to touch the ball in the goal D and can only return the ball to play out of their hands. Goalkeepers have a max of 4 seconds to release the ball.
Where the ball has left play on the sideline of the court, the restart will be done with a kick-in. The ball must be stationary and returned to play within 4 seconds.
There are no offsides.
The game is played with a regulation Futsal ball.
